Ever since I can remember I have grown up reading books, from my parents reading me bed time stories to getting Jacqueline Wilson books when I was old enough to read. One book that has always been a favourite of mine has to be, Matilda.
It’s inevitable that as we get older, we have less and less time to take the time out and immerse ourselves in a good book. When I was asked to write a post about my favourite childhood book – there was only one possible option. Jacqueline Wilson – Bad Girls!
‘I love you right up to the moon and back’. This story reminds me so much of childhood, and I think this particular phrase is one a lot of us use, whether we know where it came from or not. It’s a book my Mum and I quote to this day! (I’m 25…).
