Cheap things to do in Liverpool in Half Term

Half term can get really expensive, especially if you have more than one child wanting to do different things with different interests!

We want to make life simple for for parents, and we also know that cheap activities can be the most fun!

Liverpool Museum

There's so many museums on offer in Liverpool, but the Museum of Liverpool on the waterfront (between the Albert Docks and Pier Head) has plenty of history to showcase this wonderful city, that's interesting for both you and the kids!

Feed the ducks in Sefton Park

It's an age old favourite for all kids, feeding the ducks! Grab some out of date bread and head down to the park for a stroll, why not treat the kids to a hot chocolate or ice cream down Lark Lane on the way home!

See the Squirrels!

Explore the woodlands of Formby Nature Reserve, build a den and see some cute little Squirrels along the way! Just remember to wrap up warm!

Pet some animals! (Rice Lane City Farm)

A free petting area for kids? WE'RE SOLD! There is no entry fee for this cute little farm but they do accept donations to help support the business.

Southport Pier

A classic seaside town, that's close to home! Jump on a Merseyrail train and explore what this town has to offer, from the fair to the pier. Have a walk down the beach while playing on the old arcades, a cheap day out sorted!

Otterspool Adventure

If you're looking for something a bit more active and fun day out with the kids, then Otterspool Adventure not far from Otterspool Park and Promenade, has a variety of activities on offer with free entry and access to the wooden adventure playground.
